Angela uses wool from her own sheep and dyes it herself. This particular rug also features some of the hand-dyed mill-spun yarn from our store.

Hey, fiber enthusiasts!  Would you like to join some like-minded knitters for two hours of knitting and chatting fun on Tuesday and Thursday evenings?  Of course you would!  The Gallup Socker and Allied Sports League invites you to tune in via Zoom and knit with your favorite project.  It's not a class, but your fellow participants are happy to answer questions, recommend references, and perhaps recommend a class that will help you progress.  No by-laws, no officers, no gossip, and no politics!  They are just a great group of fiber friends.  Join regularly, or check in when you can.  

How to join?  Put the free product in your cart, and check out.  You'll get a "ticket" for the Zoom meetings until the end of 2023.  Such a deal!

Navajo Weaving Techniques Class Steamboat SpringsNavajo Weaving Techniques Boot Camp in Steamboat Springs Essentials 

  • Tuition for the class is $675 and includes the use of a loom and tools for the course duration.  
  • You may also bring your loom subject to space limitations.
  • You will warp the loom on the first day of class. 
  • We will supply the yarns and other equipment that you'll need, and you'll get a digital copy of our textbook. 
  • That's right.  You can try this for four days and only invest your tuition. 
  • We'll let you buy all the equipment you want, but you don't have to. 
  • We can't guarantee that you'll love weaving the Navajo way, but we can guarantee that you'll gain new insights into Navajo textiles.
